The Industrial Catalogue of Algeciras Bay, which includes the industrial areas, infrastructure and investment opportunities, aims to foster cooperation among companies and to promote the potentialities of the industrial and logistics hub of the area of Algeciras Bay at international level.

• Regional unity, connectivity, mobility and regularly updated information, are the cornerstones of this catalogue.
• Regional unity; the Strait of Gibraltar as economic hub towards Europe, Africa and Middle East.
• Functional connectivity among the different industrial, logistics and port resources.
• Mobility; Geographical interconnection of the various infrastructure and communication means for mobility
• Regularly updated information and technical accuracy in the description of resources.

All of them have set the catalogue design, which gives an overview of the territory and the investment opportunities it offers.

The application provides direct access to information, dynamic contents and user friendly interface to navigate through resources easily. The map is the starting point for the search of both developed and planned resources. Resources are gathered in three categories with intuitive pictograms and colours:

Industrial areas: Information given includes location and territorial context, communications and mobility routes, as well as infrastructure and services provided.

Three kinds of resources are distinguished in this field:

• industrial estates and projects
• large industries
• business and services centres
• Logistics network: Information of specialised infrastructure, intermodal connectivity, airports, road and railway networks.
• Port infrastructure: Maritime connections are key in positioning Algeciras Bay as an economic hub and gateway to Europe. This section offers information on:
• Ports: technical characteristics, port services and infrastructure that has been developed, is due to licence or planned for future development, by type of goods.
• Port areas: They provide information about the area, breakwaters, quays and berths, of ports described before, by location rather than by type of goods.
• Regular shipping lines: passenger and container lines.
